Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 January 2026
Overview
T-Minds provides its services through the website, phone, the app, and other online and offline platforms. The information you share with us — particularly about your mental and emotional wellbeing — is exceptionally sensitive. Safeguarding your privacy is fundamental to our commitment to safe, person-centred care.
This policy explains, in clear terms, how T-Minds collects, processes, uses, stores, protects, and discloses your personal and health information when you access our services, whether in-clinic, via teleconsultation, or through our digital platforms. We comply with the Information Technology Act 2000, the SPDI Rules 2011, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines.
Consent
By accessing or using T-Minds — in person, online, or via teleconsultation — you provide informed, voluntary consent to receive mental-health care and related services, and to the collection, storage, and lawful use of your personal and health information for clinical care, communication, documentation, and legal compliance.
Teleconsultation (video, audio, chat) is a legally recognised mode of clinical care, and e-prescriptions may be issued where legally permissible, strictly for your personal, single-use treatment. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian provides consent on your behalf and supervises your use of the platform.
You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to us; this may limit which services we can continue to provide, and does not affect records we are legally required to retain.
Information we collect
We collect information you voluntarily provide — name, age, gender, contact details, and information needed to maintain your profile — and, in the course of care, clinical information such as presenting concerns, medical history, symptoms, session notes, and assessment responses.
This information is used to create and maintain your account, schedule and remind you of appointments, facilitate teleconsultation and e-prescriptions, process payments, respond to service requests, and improve the quality of care. It is accessible only to authorised clinicians and administrative staff who need it to deliver your care, and is never shared with third parties beyond what's needed for payment processing, clinical collaboration, or legal compliance.
Updating or deleting your information
You can update most of your profile information directly through your account. For information we cannot let you edit directly (e.g. clinical records), write to our support team and we will make reasonable efforts to act on your request, subject to law and clinical necessity.
Certain records — such as clinical notes, payment history, and appointment logs — must be retained for the period required by law or professional standards, even after account deletion or withdrawal of consent.
Cookies & log data
We automatically collect log data (IP address, browser, device, pages visited) to operate, secure, and improve the platform. We use essential cookies (login, security), performance/analytics cookies, and preference cookies. Disabling essential cookies may limit some features.
Security & confidentiality
We use administrative, physical, and technical safeguards — secure storage, access controls, encryption — to protect your information, and access is restricted to authorised personnel. Calls and video sessions are not recorded by us.
Confidentiality may only be overridden where there is a threat to your safety or others', where legally mandated (e.g. reporting abuse), or with your consent for continuity of care. No method of electronic transmission is completely secure, and by using our platform you accept this residual risk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy at any time; changes take effect on posting. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
Governing law & grievance redressal
